This is my home office and it is where I create all kinds of 3D graphics and web designs in Leeds and Yorkshire.
I'm based in Leeds near Chapel Allerton
Since living here I have decorated and made the place my own I love it here because it is quiet and a great place to live in the heart of Leeds.
I am Nik Baumann
I graduated from Sheffield University with a first class degree in music technology. Unfortunately I graduated a music degree at exactly the same year Napster came out. The music industry imploded and getting work making music was impossible. I actually got a job making music for a computer games company but because of Napster they cancelled the job before I even got to start any work!
I then got work building interactive CD-ROMs and graphics freelance. This gave me great experience in IT and graphics and I also programmed Lingo and Actionscript. After many years and different Jobs I started to learn web design when I was in Turkey. All of the hotels wanted an english website, so for a few years I did ok in Bodrum Turkey. I then returned to the UK and started doing freelance web design work here. This was hard as its very much who I knew and was able to get the work through networking.
